Today we went back to
the same town, Maili Saba, and half of our groups stayed and did
the eyeglass ministry while the rest of us went out to talk to
people. My group went the opposite direction of the day before and
talked to some more families. We got back a little bit early
and I helped Mary hand out glasses. It was a really cool
experience not only because none of these people have the opportunity
to buy glasses, but also because we were meeting their needs on a
variety of levels. God sent us here so that these people
could have both physical sight and spiritual sight. What an
amazing miracle! One lady came up and we gave her the
strongest glasses that we had. They looked like Coke bottles. And
when she put them on she was SO happy that she exclaimed, "I
can now see my grandchildren for the first
time!!"

"I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I
will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will
make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the
Gentiles, to
open eyes that are blind,
to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon
those who sit in darkness." Isaiah 42:6-7
